It isn’t cheap, that’s for sure. But the price doesn’t stop us admiring this wonderful reissue, the Delfino armchair and ottoman by Erberto Carboni for Arflex.
It dates back to 1954, described as ‘organic furniture’ due to its inspiration from nature and notably for its fin-like arms, hence the name (which is Dolphin if you translate from the Italian).
The chair is upholstered in a Bombay fabric with brass-plated legs and rivets setting it off.
As we said, not a cheap option, but if you have £3,685 spare, it could be yours.
