It isn’t the cheapest eBay find we’ve had on here, but we do like this refurbished 1960s Danish sofa and day bed very much.
As you might have guessed, this sofa / day bed uses a vintage frame from a mid-1960s Danish design, having been stripped back then completely refurbished using ‘high quality’ fire retardant materials and finished with a new fabric. That cloth is a Designer's Guild matt grey wool with buttons in Eleanor Pritchard's burnt orange cloth.
The frame is described as being in ‘excellent’ condition, with ‘only a little age related superficial marking’ to the legs.
Good for a sofa, great if someone stays over unexpectedly (or you want a lazy day) – it’s a versatile design and a good looking one too. The price is £795, but you can make a cheaper offer if you wish.
