We have mentioned the super-collectable Carltonware money boxes in the past, wonderful 1960s designs that are very sought after today and as such, sometimes quite pricey. This Safari Park ceramic elephant money box at Paperchase doesn’t look a million miles away from them.
However, unlike those designs, you can pick up this particular money box for a very modest outlay. Looks great too, a retro-style elephant design printed onto a ceramic money box, one with a slot for the money on top and a stopper to get at it underneath.
Whether you use it for saving or simply for some home decoration, the price of £8 is still an affordable one. A fairly cheap gift too.
