This is such a thing of beauty and at first glance, a wonderful design from the 1950s. But this is actually a contemporary piece, the Recast sofa bed by Per Weiss.
But the inspiration for the Danish designer is obviously Scandinavian design from the 1950s. A wonderfully mininalist design, a mix of dark stained wood and matt black powder coated steel for the frame, with buttoned detailing and the option to flip down the back rest to create a large bed from the sofa.
