You may closely associate Tolix with its classic chairs but there are other treats to be discovered in the company's archive too, such as the 55 Table, now available from Folklore.
While the Tolix chairs date all the way back from the 1930s, this table – as its name might suggest – dates to 1955 and was designed by Jean Pauchard, the son of the founder of this famous French company.
Like the chairs, the table has got masses of industrial style, but its shape also nods to the influence of midcentury design.
Made from sheet metal with a glossy varnish finish, the table is available in over 40 colour combinations, as well as in three different sizes.
