We featured MidCentury magazine back in its early days: it has now reached issue 08, which is just about to hit the shops.
We may be slightly biased as one of the writers for Retro To Go is also now on the editorial team for the magazine, but the magazine has gone from strength to strength since then. As the name suggests, it's a celebration of all things mid-century. In this issue that makes for a mix of articles about specific pieces – such as Georg Jensen jewellery or Robert Stewart's textiles – as well as tips for collectors.
There are a couple of inspiring home tours too, including a Grade II listed Span house in Blackheath – there's a sneak peek below - and a 1966 bungalow on the innovative Scandinavian-inspired Ryde Estate in Hatfield.
Out twice a year, it's priced at £11 an issue – a worthwhile investment for all lovers of mid-century style.
