Love this, both for the look and the price. Yes, this three-drop teak and glass light fitting could be quite a bargain.
According to the seller, this is an original 1960s suspension ceiling light, constructed with a teak ‘central piece’ and three teak branches, with three opaque white glass teardrop lampshades and a teak ceiling cone finishing off the design.
It has a great midcentury look – a look that you can still buy new if you shop arounds the right stores, but all too often for a rather hefty price.
This vintage light fitting is described as being in ‘very good condition’ and in ‘full working order’. The only issue flagged up is with the plastic bulb casings, which have ‘slight age related cracking around their bottom rims’.
That price? No reserve and currently at 99p.
