Ok, it’s not quite the same as living in the building, but these Isokon Gallery Mugs by Skandium do bring some of the building’s style into your home.
The numbers, to be exact. What you see here are replicas of the original house numbers from the iconic 1934 modernist development, the work of Wells Coates and once home to the likes of Agatha Christie, Marcel Breuer and Walter Gropius.
The grade I-listed building was renovated around a decade ago and the numbers were lost. But thanks to some research, images were found and the numbers were recreated for the apartments. Those same numbers have now been made available for use on these wonderful mugs, printed onto bone china, which is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
£12 gets you a mug.
