If you have a record player, vintage or modern, then this is a very practical design. Of course, there is surface area for your player on the top. But below there is also space for a selection of your favourite records too. A drawer for cassettes as well, which might be less useful.
In terms of the upcycling, that is primarily the addition of the iron hair pin legs (always a popular addition), which work well with the teak veneered outer.
