We do love the vintage-style Revival and we love it even more when it has been reworked by longstanding London department store Library. The end result of the meeting is the rather cool Flowers of Liberty Roberts Revival radio range.
There are three wonderful Liberty patterns adorning these retro radios, those being Theodora, Betsy and Wiltshire. Betsy and Wiltshire are archive 1930s designs, while Theodora was designed in collaboration with artist Josephine Gormesall as part of the Gallery of Prints collection.
Obviously that’s just half of the story, the other being the radio itself. It looks old, but this is all-new technology, including FM and DAB reception, 120 hours of battery life, auto tune, station name display and a connector for MP3 playback from an external device.
If you want one in your home, the price is £225 from Liberty or Liberty online.
