Not just a 1970s-inspired covering, this Lavaliers wallpaper by Little Greene is an actual 1970s design reproduced for the modern era.
Well, produced for a retro interior in the mordant era anyway. This is a 1975 design, originally produced in France in the 1970s in two neutral colours, but available in stronger shades (including this blue) as a reissue.
A bold design, reminding us very much of the work of David Hicks around that time, it uses a series of interlocked ovals, creating a ‘chain like’ repeat throughout. Perhaps not for everyone, but we absolutely love it.
Each roll is around 10m and each costs £57.
