If it looks familiar, it is perhaps because this Moto cord western jacket at Topshop is based on a classic.
That classic is of course the winter version of the Levi’s trucker, also known as the Levi’s Sherpa jacket. A design we have featured in a brown cord finish in the past.
The differences here are obviously that this isn’t a Levi’s jacket and this particular jacket is a women’s item rather than being aimed (as is usually the case) at the male market.
The former does of course mean a cheaper jacket, but one with a similar fleece-style lining, flap pockets on the chest and button front. If this ‘60s / ‘70s look appeals, sizes are 4 through to 16 and the price is £58.
