Ok, so you know it is Back To The Future Day today, the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown travelled to in Back to the Future II. Various things going to celebrate, but the rather niche one that caught our eye was the reissue of these 1970s Nike Bruin trainers.
Yes, if you are a fan you might recognise these as the shoes Marty McFly has on his feet in the 1989 movie.
The shoe actually dates back as far as 1972, a classic of its time and a much-loved basketball shoe. The version here is a limited edition, with a full grain white leather upper, red accents and a cupsole.
Getting a pair isn’t quite so easy though. The shoe is released today in limited numbers at ‘select’ NikeLab retailers. So basically you’ll need to hint around to find one of those, as we haven’t struck lucky just yet.
