A couple of days back I was watching a TV programme about buying vintage items in Germany. Basically, the message being hammered home was the cheapness of ‘retro’ pieces in mainland Europe as opposed to the UK. Which is why I’ve been looking on eBay Germany, the location of this wonderful 1960s space age chandelier.
The seller says foreign bidders are welcome, so that’s on positive. The other is this marvellous space age design. No maker attached to it, but if you want the look of that era, this is definitely a piece for you.
A metal frame with six holders and circular lights coming off it. Quite simply but very stylish. Condition is ‘good to very good’ and the price is 270 Euros, which works out at around £190 plus the postage.
