This isn’t quite how it looked originally, but we do like the look of this 1970s Marconiphone stereogram with hairpin legs.
Of course the upcycling is the addition of those hairpin legs, which certainly add something to the design. Although the look is pretty strong regardless.
Within the wooden frame you’ll find a serviced auto-play deck, built-in speakers, a ‘Transistor’ amplifier which is in ‘perfect working order’ and a radio with LM/MW/VHF(FM) reception. Controls for on-off, tone, balance and gram too.
As well as being serviced and the design tweaked, the unit also has a new plug for safety reasons, with other faulty parts replaced where necessary.
