We have featured the original Model One, which was way back in 2009. More recently, the radio has been given a splash of colour, returning as the Tivoli Audio Model One Frost White and discounted in the run-up to Christmas.
The Model One is still the same high-end piece of audio, complete with a handmade wood cabinet, which means it looks good and benefits the sound thanks to the ‘acoustically inert’ housing. In terms of those looks, it now has even more punch with the five coloured faceplates available in the Frost White range.
Downside? Well, the Model One is just an AM / FM radio, so if you want DAB look elsewhere. But on the plus side, it is compatible to be used with an iPod and other digital players as a speaker.
Usually the radio sells for £129, but from now you can get this vintage-style gem for £99.
