You do see a few of these coming up, but not too many with the full interior and the external detailing just as it should be. That’s the big selling point for this particular Mary Quant Edition Mini car.
I think you might expect this to be from the swinging sixties, but in reality it’s actually a late 1980s limited edition, as the writing on the side might indicate.
Other detailing of note is the Mary Quant badge on the front of the car, the badge on the centre of the steering wheel, the bold striped seats and the stripes on the inside of the doors. All present and correct.
A lot of work has been undertaken by the current owner too. Some repair damage (checked out by VOSA and fully roadworthy if you are worried), as well as new sills, new subframes, new bumpers, new door and boot handles, new chrome trim and all welding done to a ‘very high standard’.
The brakes have also been overhauled and the 12-inch mini-lite wheels have been refurbished too.
The car comes with a brand new MOT and is currently on eBay at £1,254. As I said, a lot of these have been changed, so the originality of this one might be a decent investment as the years pass.
