I’m sure you all remember the launch of the Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups range, which included everything from The Hipster to The Hangover. Well, it seems the series wasn’t quite done and dusted in October, with The Mum now available to pre-order.
It’s the same scenario, with the classic Ladybird book and its imagery used as the basis for a 21st century guide to the subject in hand. That subject, in this case, is The Mum.
Of course, like the other guides, this is far from a serious look at The Mum by Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris, writers behind the likes of The Framley Examiner and Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe. Essentially, if you loved the tone of the other books, you’ll probably love this one too.
Shame it doesn’t make the cut for Christmas, but you can pre-order ahead of the launch early next year. It sells for £6.99.
