We are actually flagging up two things here. But the main one is is this wonderful restored Patrice Dupont-designed Philips 303 UFO record player.
It is a design we have flagged up in the past and for good reason. This is one of the most stylish record players ever made. Its original era is pretty obvious, a gem of a space age design from the 1970s (featured in the plastic bible L´Utopie Du Tout Plastique) and as the name suggests, inspired by an alien spacecraft.
This one is particular merit because it has been restored and comes (unusually) in its original box. It is, of course, undamaged and the interior is in ‘very good condition’. Some ‘minimal yellowing’ of the white plastic as you might expect, but the battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion, possibly never used with batteries.
The price for this right now is £249.

One thing to note, if you are technically minded, is that there is another on these on eBay too. It currently doesn’t work, which is why this one is at just £15. If you can get it to work could be a bargain. More on that one here.
