It is the originality that draws me to this 1950s Dansette Major record player.
This player dates from 1957, which is pushing 60 years ago. Despite that, this is the original covering for the player, not some reproduction cloth, which is often the case with Dansettes on eBay.
The player has been restored by the seller, stripped and cleaned inside and out, worth out parts replaced and the valve amplifier serviced. The deck has also been reconditioned and works just as it should on all speeds.
All the details of the restoration are on the listing, as well as more photos of the finished player. If you fancy it in your home, the current bid price is £68.
