This is such a great design and if you love the city and the era, you will probably fall for this La Parisienne wallpaper by Colefax and Fowler too.
It is, of course, a wallpaper that pays tribute to Paris. But not modern-day Paris, this is 1950s Paris. Although some of the key sights of the city (Notre Dame, The Seine and The Eiffel Tower) haven’t changed much since. The fashions of the women on here most certainly have though and the design is very typical of the era.
If you want to do a room with more than a touch of the 1950s about it, you might want to invest in a roll or two of this. Actually invest is quite an apt word here, as it doesn’t come cheap. You are looking at around £120 for a 10-metre roll.
As for finding it, you can visit the maker’s site for stockists. We have found it on an Italian retailer’s site while John Lewis also tends to stock much of the maker’s range.
