When you hear the name Baracuta, you probably think of the words ‘Harrington’ and ‘men’ too. It has been a male-dominated brand for years, as well as a label largely associated with one particular design. That has now changed, with a women’s range introduced and within it, this classic trench coat.
Very stylish too. It’s the classic, mid-20th century raincoat, but with a Baracuta twist.
We are talking a slim-fit trench made of a high-tech double-layered cotton (waterproof and breathable), finished with classic double-breasted button fastening, a waist belt to define the shape, trademark front pockets with button-down flaps, adjustable cuffs and another typical Baracuta touch, the ‘Umbrella’ back vent. Fraser Tartan details on the interior too.
It’s the ideal coat for the British weather but it does come at a price. £325 to be precise, with sizes from 4 through to 18.
