There are different shapes / sizes available for this design, the longest being the G-Plan Astro oval coffee table.
There are a good number on eBay right now too, with most in this shape being about twice the price of this one. That’s pretty much why we are flagging it up. But do check out those others too if you want to compare and contrast.
As for the design, the Astro was first made in the 1960s (and made into the 1970s) and is probably the most famous of all G-Plan’s pieces. It is also one of the more stylish and a coffee table that would fit effortlessly into a retro or midcentury-style home in the modern era too.
The teak frmae and the glass top are said to be in ‘great condition’, with the bid price currently currently at £80. That doesn’t sound much for what is quite a lot of table.
