Potential bargain of the day on eBay is undoubtedly this 1960s Peter Hoyle PH7 swivel chair, which is still at its starting price of just £1.
Very much of its era (the colour tells you that), the chair has a fibreglass frame and original red PVC upholstery, with a steel base with satin chrome finish. That base allows it to swivel 360 degrees.
According to the seller, the chair ‘has had some wear but despite its age has survived well’. Things to note are a small cigarette burn to one arm (see an image on the listing), some marks and scuffs and surface crackling to the seat, a white paint mark to the lower front right corner of the chair and some rust spots to the legs. There is some fading to the arms and seat where it looks more orange than red
More details and images are on the website. If it appeals to you as is or as a project to re-cover or re-work, then a £1 might just secure it.
