As we have said before, you can buy new remakes of this. But the original will always be the best, bringing us nicely to this 1960s Dansette Bermuda record player.
An old one, but it looks like new thanks to the extensive renovation job on here. The old covering has been removed, a new added and with stripping and cleaning inside and out, it could pass for factory fresh from a distance. For reference, the seller says it is is ‘very very close’ to being in ‘new condition’.
See the listing for all the work done, but suffice to say the parts have been tested and any that needed replacing have been, while the mechanisms within have been lubricated and tested to ensure everything moves as it should.
A valve amplifier and a BSR record deck are inside, with the deck showing ‘some little marks’ but otherwise in ‘very good condition’. Again, see the listing for the full details of that.
If you want it, you can bid for it. Right now, the biding is at £62.

Note also that there is a Dansette Major on eBay too, which has also been refurbished to a high standard.
