Another piece that looks to have age, but that’s certainly not the case. The Whitworth leather two-seater sofa and armchair are made to order at Laura Ashley.
Both certainly have the look though, one that could be right out of the middle of the 20th century. Some lovely detailing on here too, from the sloped back with winged detailing and vertical pattern through to the wonderful curved wood frame. That leather looks a touch aged too, just to add to the mystery of its year of origin.
That’s all good. The one downside is perhaps the price. £1,000 for the chair and £1,800 for the sofa.
