We have featured a few of these things in the past, but we are flagging up this particular teak sewing box because it looks like decent value.
It’s a midcentury-style piece, from the 1950s or 1960s and with the seller hinting that this may be a Danish design. Not sure about that, but it’s a good looking thing regardless.
Practical too. Of course its prime purpose is as a sewing box, but you can use for storing anything small really, with an impressive amount of space within once it folds out fully.
The box has ‘minor marks’ and ‘wear’ commensurate with its age, but is ‘generally in very good used condition’. As for the price, that’s down as £58 on a ‘Buy It Now’, with the option to put in a cheaper offer too.
