Of course, you can buy a modern-day copy if you want one. But if it is all about originality, you might want to check out this restored 1960s Dansette Bermuda record player with legs.
This is an original 1960s player, with the lid replaced due to poor condition. Outside of that, this is a case of bringing everything up to speed for the mourn era.
So the player has been stripped and cleaned inside and out, the valve serviced, parts replaced to updated where necessary and new wiring added in to replace the old 1960s power cord. A BSR Monarch deck is inside, playing records art four speeds and able to stack and play up to eight records.
The colour is the original salmon and cream and it is, of course, full working and in ‘superb condition’ according to the seller. It’s an auction too, so get bidding if you want it. As I type, this is at £21.
