100 years ago, the wonderful and simple Johnston typeface was created for the London Underground. If you want this timeless design in your home (or workplace) as well as your commute, that’s possible courtesy of these Johnston Typeface mugs at the London Transport Museum Shop.
Take your pick from the alphabet or the numbers, with an uppercase and lowercase version of the letter on the alphabet mugs. No matter which one you go for, it’s a lovely bit of instantly recognisable old school modernism and quite possibly a talking point too.
