Old school basketball shoes straight out of the archive, courtesy of these newly-released Puma Clyde trainers.
As you might know, the shoes date back to 1973, getting their name from Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, a seven-time all-star at the New York Knicks. He asked Puma for a wider fitting version of their suede, which he adult endorsed and the rest, as they say, is history.
These reissues reference those early incarnations, with soft suede uppers, perforated detailing, a leather-lined collar and a textured rubber outsole. Gold foil branding and an original colour option finish things off.
If you want any of these 1970s colour options, you can pick them up now. They retail for £69.
