It’s a classic of its type and as well as that, the 1970s Schneider Super Sound Set portable record player you see here is also up for sale on eBay.
This is a green (possibly turquoise) SSS, similar to one featured in the legendary L´Utopie Du Tout Plastique book, able to pack down into a small carry case, but ready to open up a fully-fledged stereo, with deck, two speakers and mains cable.
According to the seller, it has new cables (after the old ones went missing) and has undergone a full service. The interior is ‘in very good condition’ and everything works as it should.
We have seen these space age gems in the past and for less money. But with vinyl being flavour of the month / year, prices are on the rise. This one is up for £349 on a ‘Buy It Now’. Alternatively, you can put in a cheaper offer.
