This model is described as a ‘very early’ and ‘now very rare’ 1965 example of the Giardinara. It has also been on the receiving end of a ‘full nut and bolt’ restoration too.
Much of the work was undertaken by a ‘renowned specialist’ in Italy using only original parts, with the bodywork now in its original ‘Blue Scuro’ colour, extending to the inner wheel arches and also under body.
The 499cc engine ‘pulls very well’ and ‘starts first time’. all the suspension system is new, as are the wheels and tyres. Space in the boot too, as the engine of the Giardiniera under the boot floor to create a flat loading surface. Clever.
The car comes with a new UK log book, age related number plates, the original Italian log book, a Fiat user manual and assorted documentation, with a workshop service and 12 months MOT also part of the deal.
