We something similar to this a couple of days ago and it proved really popular. With that in mind, we’ve found another gem at a (currently) very low asking price – this 1970s mushroom-style table lamp.
The seller isn’t sure of the maker, but is ‘pretty confident’ that this is a ‘Peter Nelson /Architectural Lighting’ piece dating from the 1970s.
The base is solid anodised alloy, with twin lampholders inside, a solid anodised alloy stem, a cord operated on/off switch and a thick opal white acrylic, vacuum formed shade. The total height is approximately 61cm.
As for condition, the wiring has been ‘checked’, there are two new bulbs fitted, the on/off switch works perfectly and overall this is described as ‘pretty much immaculate’.
