This came out a few months back and passed us by. But not for too long, as the Haynes Retro Radio is now very much on our radar.
It is pretty much what it sounds like. This is a (very) 1970s-style FM radio in kit form. No soldering required, you just have to work with the included components and tools to put it all together. The only extras you need are a radio signal and a PP3 battery.
Ideal for the kind of person who loves messing about with things and pretty much perfect for a wet Sunday afternoon. Once made, it’s a perfect addition to a retro room, especially if you like a bit of music in the background.
Note that it isn’t a toy and as such isn’t suitable for anyone under 14. If you are older than that, the price of this is £24.99.
