We mentioned the original Polaroid Snap about a year ago, It has now been superseded by the new and equally retro Polaroid Snap Touch.
It looks much the same, which is obviously a huge selling not from our point of view. The difference is behind that retro casing. This time the camera has a touchscreen (hence the name) and Bluetooth connectivity. The latter means that, via the app on your phone, you can send over copies of your snaps to your phone, as well as being able to print them out.
Talking of printing, this uses Polaroid’s ZINK inkless paper for ‘real’ photography.
As for pricing, that’s not certain for the UK as yet, In the US it is $180 and at a guess, we would say £170 is the price of a UK version. We’ll find out for sure in October.
Expect to pick it up from Amazon when it does land.
