If you know your Tintin, you will definitely get the Rocky Rocket armchair by Circu.
Yes, this limited edition seat for kids, from the people behind the Camper Van Bed, is based on the rocket from the classic Tintin storybook Destination Moon, first published back in the 1950s.
Ok, your kids might not know the story. But regardless of that, they’ll love this design. Part toy and part armchair, it has its own light and sound yens, as well as hidden shelving / storage within the engines and the staircase.
The rocket is made of fibreglass, with a ‘mask’ paint used for squares and an interior made up of red velvet.
Of course, it isn’t cheap, with the price quoted to us a hefty €28,610. Not that it makes us love it any less. It just means it’s probably always going to be out of our reach.
