I know we featured something similar recently, but I’ve just spotted this particular 1962 Fiat 500D Trasformabile, which is out of this world.
It looks fresh off the factory floor and has all the features buyers of this model demand – the suicide doors, a full length convertible sunshine roof, the round speedo and of course, an original matching numbers engine.
According to the seller, the car was fully restored (at great cost) by its long term owner in Italy then sold in 2002, then sold to another owner in Belgium, making its way to the UK in 2005.
The end result of all the work and care is what you see here, a left-hand drive model with a full ‘nut and bolt’ restoration. You can see a breakdown of the work on the listing. Suffice to say, everything has been taken care of.
Oh, one other thing too. The car is showing just 37,154km in total, with less than 1000km since restoration. Impressive.
Fancy it? No auction sadly, you will have to pay £14,995.
