This were first mentioned for reissue a couple of weeks back, but without a specific date. Now we gave the details for the return of the 1960s Adidas Originals Archive Athen trainers.
The design has been tweaked a little since 1968, when this shoe first appeared. But not radically – and this is still the original colourway of a shoe now celebrating 48 years in the Adidas archive and pretty much the same shoe that has been around since the 1970s.
But a rarely reissued shoe, last seen back in 2004. Which is why this is going to be in short supply.
The Athen will be available online and in all Size? stores on Friday 21st October, with a price tag of £80. In addition to that, there is a special launch event for the release of the Athen in the Size? Manchester store on Thursday 20th from 8pm – 10pm, but you will have to sign up to get in.
