We do love the work of Jim Flora, who has featured on this site in the past with hand-printed calendars, limited edition prints and the classic Mambo For Cats print. But the Jim Flora wallpaper collection by the Double E Company is a brand new product featuring the great man’s work.
Now sadly passed away, Jim Flora was responsible for some of the most recognisable illustration of the mid-20th century, from iconic album covers to children’s books and much more besides. Some of that artwork is now being applied to wall coverings. And it really does work.
This is a collaboration between the Double E Company and speciality wall company Astek, picking out some classic and lesser-known imagery, all of which is incredibly striking and perfect for a retro or midcentury interior.
We have picked out five of our favourites here, including the Mambo and Jumping’ Jive, which we are already trying to picture on our own walls.
Check out the full range via Design Your Wall, with prices for the m’made to order’ paper certainly not cheap, selling from around £200 per roll.
