This isn’t cheap, but we have seen something similar for a much higher price at a respected online retailer. With that in mind, this 1950s James Leonard Esavian chest is well worth checking out.
That’s if the design appeals, of course. Dating back to around 1950, these were designed for the Educational Supply Association and as such, used in schools and institutions. These days, they offer some midcentury style to your home, as well as something interesting and in light of all that storage, something very practical too.
According to the seller, this unit is in ‘good used condition’ with ‘age related wear and some paint in drawers’. See the full set of images on the site for an idea of that.
These are quite rare and sought after, so the £780 price isn’t surprising.
