This is an original UK right hand drive car in midnight blue with a tan interior, as well as the original 1300 90hp engine and 5-speed dog-leg gearbox. It also has the original wood rimmed two-spoke steering wheel.
According to the seller, this tax-exempt vehicle is MOT’d until March 2017 and ‘tarts, runs and drives’ with steering described as ‘sharp’ and as you would hope, the brakes ‘work well’, the engine ‘sounds great’ and the gearbox ‘spot on with no crunches or whines’.
On the downside, the paint job is ‘not perfect’ and some details need attention, although all look fine from a short distance.
But overall, it looks and sounds like a desirable car, especially if you love the era. £6,100 is the price right now, with a few days to go.
