Plenty of variations on that theme out there already, but this Dexter Sputnik-style ceiling light at Marks & Spencer is new to the shelves.
As you can work out from the title, this is a light inspired by the space age of the past. Specifically the Soviet Sputnik satellite that launched in the late 1950s.
That shape was picked up for light fittings back in the 1960s, with the trend picking up once more in recent years, all similar to this one, but with their own slight variations.
In this case, there is an antique copper finish, with white frosted bulb covers and an adjustable chain. The 12 bulbs are included (you’ll be pleased to know) and the price is £179.
