If you are getting memories of school from looking at the Homework wallpaper by Mini Moderns, then it’s pretty much job done.
That is the inspiration for this new range of wall coverings, the schooldays of its creators and the graph paper used or unused in their exercise books.
According to Keith from Mini Moderns: ‘My friend Pauline had red graph wallpaper in her parent’s dining room and, back in the 80s, I thought it was the height of sophistication – it felt both aspirational and very modern at the same time. To be honest, I still think it does!’
Mark adds: ‘When it came to choosing colourways for the print we realised just how versatile graph paper is. The Pale Verdigris version recreates the iconic science book graph paper we used at school. Then there’s a crisp black and white variant. For a warmer look, we created a third colourway with the graph reversed out of our popular concrete colour.’
If that appeals to you and works for your home, you can choose from the Pale Verdigris, Concrete and Snow options, with each roll printed in the UK on paper from sustained forests with water based ink and sized at 52cm x 10m. £65 is the price of a roll.
