This actually an ongoing series of decks, but the new one on the shelves right now is this Pro-Ject limited edition 1964 Beatles turntable.
The first one was a tribute to George Harrison (pictured below) which sold out before we even had chance to write about it. This second one is a limited edition of 2500 worldwide, with four more Beatles-flavoured decks heading our way in the near future.
As for this design, it is called the 1964 but is actually a tribute to the early 1960s. That design is made up of original tickets for the band’s shows between 1962 and 1966.
The turntable used is a Debut Carbon Esprit SB, with s an Ortofon 2M Red stylus, carbon tone-arm, an acrylic platter and built-in electronic speed control for switching speeds.
The standard version of that is obviously much cheaper, but if you want the limited edition Beatles turntable, that will retail for around £550.
