Another good looking Dansette on eBay, this time a 1960s Dansette Conquest Auto record player.
It dates from around 1960, in a classic red finish and fully restored electrically, mechanically and cosmetically to ‘as new working condition’. It also uses a BSR UA12 turntable that plays vinyl at four speeds and as the name suggests, can automatically play up to eight records at a time.
The work is detailed on the listing, but as a guide, this player has been stripped and cleaned inside and out, the valve amplifier serviced, new parts fitted where necessary and a new mains cable and plug added. Much more too. Basically everything has been checked, tested and upgraded where necessary.
A lovely thing and currently at £41.
