A few of these around, including one for just 95p, but we fell for this 1950s plant stand with patterned tops on eBay.
Three selling points here. Firstly, the condition of the stand in light of its age, secondly the design itself and thirdly, those coloured platforms.
The main triangular table is made of wood and finished with a large green and white patterned ‘Formica’ top and gold plastic rim. A wooden stem threaded through the table holds three small platforms each made of wood with ‘Formica’ tops in red, grey and peach respectively and also finished with gold metallic rims.
All of that finished with three angled and tapered legs.
The Plant Stand is said to be in ‘very good condition’, which the images tend to show. But do look at the shots on the listing too and make up your own mind.
This one is at £175 right now. If that’s a bit pricey, check out the others on eBay, some of which are much cheaper though perhaps not up to this one.
