I can’t think of a better looking example of late. This 1964 Fiat 500D Trasformabile on eBay is just stunning.
Described as ‘exceptional’ by the seller, this is a ‘D’ model with suicide doors, full length convertible roof and round speedo. All desirable features.
This left-hand drive also has a new 650cc motor, a front brake disc conversion on top of the top-end restoration, which was said to have cost €8,000. That involved the car being stripped to the shell, all parts checked and refurbished (as well as being replaced if necessary). It was repainted in its original light green and the undersea treated too.
If you want a list of the more recent work this car has seen, do check the listing. That’s also pretty extensive.
Sold with a full MOT and of course, with no road tax (historic), it is for sale at £15,750. Yes, pricier than most, but you will not see another quite like this.
