Want more Smeg for your kitchen? You’re in luck, as the Smeg variable temperature kettle and hand blender are about to land.
The designs are typically retro and typically Smeg, with plenty of shades to choose from for each of those products.
As you might know, different blends of tea require different temperatures and the new kettle allows you to choose from between 50° and 100°C to customise the water temperature for the perfect ‘cuppa’. There’s also a keep warm feature for up to 20 minutes.
As for the hand blender, that uses a unique ‘Flow Blend’ system to produce an optimal flow for a smooth, even consistency for soups, smoothies, dips, purees, desserts or whatever you need to blend. In addition, a chopper attachment features an ’S shape’ blade to dice, crumb or chop as finely as possible, a potato masher has special plastic blades to cream potatoes, soft fruits or vegetables, a whisk attachment is also included, as is a 1.4 litre Tritan jug.
Both will be available at Smeg’s flagship three-storey shop in St James’s Market, Regent Street from 14th September, with other retailer’s such as John Lewis likely to follow. The kettle retails for £149.95 and the blender for £119.95.
