It’s a strong look and right now this original 1950s plant stand on eBay is just 95p.
Ok, it might go up when the auction ends, but there is real potential to get one of these much-loved stands for a bargain price. If you are kitting out a midcentury room, you might want to keep an eye on it.
The stand has tapered legs and four platforms in different sizes, each with gold coloured edging. It isn’t in perfect condition, with some ‘age related marks and repairs’. However, the seller says they ‘do not interfere with the overall look of the piece’. Make your own mind up from the images on the listing.
