I love this Philips 113 record player on eBay and I love the fact that it’s at just £1 with no reserve right now.
It’s a lovely 1970s, Patrice Dupont space age design too. So if you are a fan of plastic design of this era, definitely one for you to check out. Of course, Patrice Dupont also designed the UFO record player too – one of those for sale here if you fancy that instead.
Anyway, back to this one and according to the seller, the player has been fully serviced and everything is working via mains or battery power. But note that this is out of Germany, so you will need some kind of adaptor / rewiring for using with mains in the UK.
It plays vinyl at 33, 45 or 78rpm, has a built-in speaker and folds neatly together for carrying around. Super.
The player is in ‘very good condition’ with the original tag on it. There are ‘fine scratches’ on the surface, caused by usage and storage, but the interior is in ‘perfect condition’. As I said, just £1 as I type.
